Believe me, I'm not complaining about this deal whatsoever. I use restaurant.com all the time and I love it. That said, they literally have an 80% off "promotion" going on at all times. They just change the code every couple weeks or so. Can we just make a single restaurant.com thread and just update with whatever the current code is? It would make life simpler.
N-4-1, We have a local Mexican restaurant that uses restaurant.com. This will be about the 5th time that I have purchased this 80% off deal. You really can't go wrong! Thanks for the new code!
I, for one, appreciate the fact that a new thread is made each time a new coupon code is issued. It serves as a helpful reminder of when to make your restaurant.com purchases.
i purchased the coupon but i didnt knew this that i had to spent minimum 50$
"Special Instructions: Valid with a minimum purchase of $50. 18% gratuity added to pre-discounted check amount. Not valid with any specials/promos/other coupons."

Thanks OP! I was waiting for this one. It seems that there's a period at the beginning of the month where we don't have these 80% codes during which a lot of the popular ones sell out. I've been told that you can buy any $25 certificate (with these 80% code) and call them at the beginning of the month to exchange for those popular ones when the replenish. Anyone try it?
For those jumping in on this for the first time do a little bit of research first. When done right these 80% off restaurant.com (and don't forget 20% FatCash) certificates can be great deals, but when done wrong they can be very disappointing. Items to watch out for:
Restaurant Quality - a number of the restaurants are sub-par at best, some others are good and a rare few are great. Yelp (or Google) is a good source for reviews.
Certificate Restrictions - all $25 certs have at least a $35 minimum purchase requirement and an 18-20% tip requirement. READ THE RESTRICTIONS BEFORE BUYING - for example some certs are only valid Sun-Thu.
I started using these recently and so far every restaurant I went to accepted the certificates with no questions asked. Also you can buy "generic" $25 certificates that aren't tied to one specific restaurant until later when you select a restaurant and print out the certificate.
There are some $10 certificates which are great for lunch time (and usually only valid during lunch time). The way I use the $25 certificates is with a friend and we will either order three full meals and take home leftovers, or two full meals and an appetizer and dessert and have a great dinner at a great price.
