At the bottom of the link you'll see a combo deal with the ZOTAC IONITX-F-E Intel Atom 330 (1.6GHz, dual-core) NVIDIA ION Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo
hey guys, I wanted to have a NAS at home. I checked the prices but they all seems overpriced. I am no good at network storage issue and wondering whether it is possible to get a very basic computer and set it as a network attached storage or not? a little off-topic, sorry OP.

You might want to look at something like FreeNAS.

I want to get one of these boxes, but I'm just worried about it being able to playback all the content I want to put on it.
Anyone have suggestions on wireless keyboard and mouse?
Revo Aspire unit to me still seems like a better deal overall as it comes with ram, win7 home, and wireless keyboard and mouse.
Seems like a better deal if you get an Acer Revo, much smaller and also comes with an hdd, ram, Windows XP, and Nvidia Ion graphics. New theyre $200, used as low as $100 if youre lucky

Plus, with this board you get a x16 PCI-E slot.
Missed the dual core part, but for a HTPC doesnt really seem like its necessary. Add another gig of ram to the Revo and its good to go with XBMC and will do 1080p fine. I bought 4 of them at $110 shipped each the other week from Revonate as scratch and dents.

Unless, of course, you also use your HTPC for gaming. Or have multiple apps running while streaming 1080p. Then you'll want the extra processing power. Just saying.
But you're right, can't go wrong with the Revo if you don't demand the processing power and are on a tight budget.
