Only 2 replies so far? Wow. There's over 140 on SD already. FW has really gone down the tubes I'm afraid RIP, FW.
Edit: yep, red me all you want, I'm just being honest, and I know, the truth hurts, hell, I've got over 7000 posts here, you think I'm happy about it? And, 300+ posts on SD already, and barely a whimper here, wow! Not to mention my "instant deal alert" e-mail took over an HOUR to get to me, hell many deals can be dead in an hour!
this is a westell 7501 model, it's a generic router that will work with any internet service the 7500 is a gateway (combination modem + router) that would also work but is mainly designed for Verizon's DSL service. I have a 7501 and it's a pretty good g device, does not support dd-wrt.
they were selling these in combination with the verizon hub which has now been discontinued

depends: if you have cat5 wiring around your home then yes, just set to bridge mode otherwise you either need a wireless repeater or a dd-wrt capable router (they pop up on FW and SD all the time)
Ok free overnight shipping to boot! I am in for 3 even though I have N these will be great to help friends and family who haven't setup thier Wifi or have thier old one burn out.

good luck putting it on my bill...since I don't have any verizon service.
Just chatted with a service rep, that verbiage is standard on all orders. She (Brittney) stated that no other charges are associated with this product.
