Coupon has wrong bar code listed, when it scans, it scans for $10. Manager manually entered for the correct amount though.

Picked up 1Tb Seagate Internal hdd for 68 after 26 Staples rewards and 20 off. Listed in store at $109 they also had the external for the same price.

FWIW - This works out to be slightly worse of a deal than paying for the $25 off $75 (after coupon cost) and requires you spend $100 instead of 75. Granted it's easier to use but you still save a few bucks by going the other way.

Except this one is multiple use. If you already used a $25/$75, you'll probably get the same first 5 digits - which are only good 1 per account.

This one is multiple-use BUT it's "Limit one per person" - So if you want to be legit, you personally can't use it over and over.

It's simple to get around the 'first-5-digit' limitation.

There are most certainly purchasable web coupons that work in-store. They're more than the pennies the web ones are but still not expensive.

Sorry to disappoint but I'm not a coupon seller. Calling names isn't helpful to the discussion and...honestly what's a BAD coupon seller? LOL... I never said you couldn't re-use the attached coupon, in fact I'm sure Staples fully expects people to ignore the one-use rule. That said, I think we can ignore the one-use rule on all coupons.

Given that, 20 off 100 is still not as good as 25 off 100 or 25 off 75. Even when you factor in the coupon cost, you're paying more to use this one. People post deals and include BCB of as little as 1-2% (with a 60 day wait!) to sweeten a deal, saving at least twice that up-front definitely seems worth mentioning.

I'm not comparing a limited time/quantity door-buster BF deal to a weekend sale here. I'm comparing two readily available coupons. I'm not saying a free 20 bucks off is a BAD deal, there's just a better one available. <shrug>

There is always a better deal somewhere or in some other configuration. The best deal is the one that fits you current needs and is available when you can buy.

$25 off $100 is a better coupon than $20 off $100, but that doesn't automatically make it a better deal.
If we weren't happy about saving an additional 3.5% we wouldn't be clicking through links here at fatwallet.

You use the coupon that fits your purchase. Buying extra items to use a particular coupon doesn't necessarily make a good deal.

Lots of people pay more than 49 cents for a $25 off $100 coupon but they are satisfied with what they are doing. I haven't found anywhere cheaper than the place that has them for 49 cents but I did pay $6.20 on eBay for $20 off $20 coupons last week when they ran out.

Don't forget that OM has the 15% bag event this week. May be something to consider on what may save you more money since all the office stores accept competitor's coupon.

Also, this coupon is safer than an eJunkie coupon, since there is no chance of getting banned from Staples.

Hi storerobber, funny you asked that. I just went through the stackable with them on an order. I tried online several times could not get to stack 2 on $100.00 order. They said you would have to have the $100.00 for each coupon. i.e. If you want the luggage you have to spend $100.00 if you want to use the $20 OR whatever off $100 you would have to have another $100.00 so to use both you would have to have $200.00 purchase. I tried doing online for a very long time, called 3 times for reps who verified same and chat said same. I was persistent because I could have sworn in past that I stacked. Anyway for me it was a NO GO! Hope this saves you some time.

I just got shot down for this coupon in store. The register wouldn't take it and the manager claimed it was fraudulent. The coupon being from Staples.com apparently wasn't good enough. I don't really need the crap I was going to buy anyway. So I didn't argue and kept my $85.
