OfficeMax has the Samsung ML-2525 laser printer for $59.95 this week This is a decent entry level laserprinter. However, it uses a recently introduced toner cartridge and I have not found any information in DIY toner refills for this one (or the SCX-4623F multifunction laser on sale for $100 at other vendors ). Anyone know about these ? At least with some others that have been on market for a while you know what your dealing with .
You can grab refill kits at Tonerkits.com (same store at eBay) . Quality refills @ a cheap price ($9-$12) . Ive used them for years , highly recommend .
I emailed one of the sellers of toner refill kits and got this response -
"Sorry to say we don't carry refills for these models at this time. However, we do intend to carry them as soon as the chips come out of development. Please check back with us at a later date."
Who knows when the "chips" (these must have reset chips ?) will be available on how much they will cost . It would probably be wise to pass until we know . You don't want to get stuck high per page toner costs (ie the free razor and expensive blades- like so many inkjet printer models ) .
Looks like it's too new for china produced "OEM parts" for this printer According to NewEggs the toner cartridge is compatible for ML-2525, ML-2525W, SCX-4600, SCX-4623F, SF-650, SF-650P but all that models looks like don't have refill set yet.

Looking for refill for Samsung ML-2525 Can't find toner for this model on your site. What's wrong with this model? Is it too new? Do you planing to have it? ------------------------
Answer: This model is very new. Sorry to say we don't carry refills for this model at this time. We do intend to carry refills as soon as the reset chip comes out of development but we cannot say just when that will be. Please check back with us at a later date.
