I've had one of these for years and it is still working. Gets a little inaccurate when it gets close to 0 degrees but other than that for this price its a good deal plus free shipping. Thanks OP!

is this the temperature in the office or the temperature outside the building? The one that i purchased has a separate sensor that I needed to mount outside for it to detect relative humidity, temperature, etc.

What size battery does it use?
I have one similar to this. It uses watch (coin-size) batteries. It does not have any kind of outdoor sensor, so it only measures indoor temps. I got mine at Radio Shack a few years ago for about $5.

poor reviews on Amazon. apparently it is very small and some are coming with dead batteries out of the box.
I got one like it for free for accepting information mailed to me from some company a couple of years ago. $6.99 should be its everyday price. It does work acceptably well for the price if you are not a fanatic about accuracy.
I have this exact model (I think i purchased it form them a while ago). not that great, it claims outdoor temps and humidity, but has no remote sensor.
it uses a single LR1130 battery.

I found one of these at CVS for $2.99. Batteries were weak out of the box and despite how big it looks in the picture its pretty small. But for what it cost it works okay.
