How to get the 10% CashBack instead of 5%?

This deal is "dead" as posted. The difference between 5% and 10% is pretty significant.

Still a deal. $30 off MSRP is not exactly commonplace - especially with PS3s being increasingly scarce right now.

Also, this was posted a half-hour after BCB went back down to 5%. Another sloppy rip-off post from SD from an OP who hadn't even tried the deal at the time of posting.

Doh, I was waiting for a deal on a slim... just bought a refurb on eBay for $280 - 8% BCB. This is way hotter!

By the way, I doubt they're even available to ship, so the ETA is a big question mark.
I pulled the trigger anyway. The savings basically add up to a second controller.

@a-max: You sound grumpy.

uncharted 2 is $40 after $20off but before BCB. A must have for the PS3. Most places selling around $55.

Just to let you guys know, this says "ships in 1 - 2 weeks" so it's backstocked. Everyone is back stocked. PS3 is sold out everywhere, so you're basically being put on a waiting list. Also, they're not going to charge your card until it's in stock, which might be weeks or a month from now, so if their Bing CashBack changes I wouldn't count on them honoring the old BCB promo.

July is the next shipment of PS3s for GameStop.

10% Bing CashBack is dead

Uhhh...no! If you ACTUALLY order it, it tell you an approximate shipping date....which for me is two-n-half weeks from today. So, if you ordered from the current deal, you're not going to wait a month before they charge your card.

I got a 5% BCB tho, n then California Tax on top of that!!! But, still a deal because no store is in stock with the PS3s. Total = $293.12

Got one this morning, now I just have to sell my PS3 fat.

Estimated Delivery Date: 3/26/2010

damn that died fast

Keep thinking that. They don't know when they're going to be able to fulfill orders. They just know that they'll be getting a shipment in 1-2 weeks and think they'll have enough to fill orders. If you're lucky, it will be 1 to 2 weeks. If you're not, they might get small shipments and the hundreds of people who ordered before you (as they're the only website besides SonyStyle that are taking orders right now) will get filled slowly while you wait.

When local GameStops have their inventory for the next month already prepurchased and are refusing more prepurchases because they don't know that they'll even be able to fill the orders they already have, I wouldn't hold my breath about getting one shipped in a week. Or two weeks.

Is GameStop usually a better price than the $299 thats listed on their site? If not check your local Target. Mine has 3 PS3's in stock at the same $299 price. Not a deal, but if you need one "today" they are in stock at some places.

Bing showed up 5% for me when I ordered. I didn't get the confirmation until today, so I wrote to Bing Customer Service and they gave me 10%! YEAH!

I received my confirmation of 5% CashBack from Bing today and have contacted customer service to get the full 10%.

Thanks OP for letting me know it was @Dell (even though BCB was @5%). I've been trying to buy a PS3 for a birthday gift for a while. Every store around here BB, Target, WalMart, PC Richards, etc. doesn't have when I went looking. I was able to get one of these before they went OOS/backordered (or maybe I'm on the backorder list... who knows, Dell is stupid like that giving unrealistic ship dates). I just bought a laptop from Dell and got a 15% off coupon (one time use) which I applied to this. It didn't stack with the instant $30 off, but made the final price 299.99- 15% = 254.99 +tax = $272.84.

Weird. I ordered on the 10th, and I received the PS3 this morning. I have never seen Dell ship/deliver this quickly. Thanks OP!

is there no where else to buy a ps3 these days?????

Looks to be in-stock at Target (120gb only.)
10% BCB makes it $270, though I'm not sure of the shipping costs.

Confirmed, they are at target.com (plus tax and shipping), they are at GameStop, some stores B&M only i think. Its quite hit or miss. Grab it while you can. FWIW I went hunting this weekend, didn't find anything online (except Amazon at $370, thanks).

Still waiting for Dell to ship mine, Estimated Delivery is still "n/a"
