Yes, which is why this receiver isn't a good choice. No Dolby TrueHD.
For the money, it's a good deal, but spend a little more if this is going in a home theater and not a bedroom.Whether something has TrueHD is about the 48th most important thing to consider in terms of effect on sound quality. Way below whether the curtains are drawn or open.
Seems like a good deal given the feature set and amount of inputs it has and all of that. I doubt there is anything else in the range of 130 with hdmi and component and all of that.

I disagree. I use Yamaha RX-V861, and I use the different surround programs all the time. Yamaha's about the only ones that make surround enhancements work.
