I like what Wii motion does, but not how it's constructed. The plastic tubs that connect teh motion to the remote will get broken if you use it for energetic games such as tennis or ping pong. and then it's constant disconnections, resulting in quit a few frustrating moments. I've gone through three replacements, and it IS a structural defect. I can't tell you how mad I am at the engineers who came up with that ingenious toy but built it in such a clumsy, idiotic design flaw.

That's quite odd. Because I've had mine's for some time now and it seems to be pretty secure and I never get a disconnection. Are you locking the motionplus in place?? After you hook the motion plus to the controller you have to lock it into place, if u don't that's where i can see you might get a disconnection.

Well, have yout tried to play ping pong with it? I'm quite addicted to it actually (since I can rarely play the real thing) and I got disconnected all the time, even when the tabs are in place. I finally got enough and secured the whole thing with scotch tape; only then the problem stopped. Of course, it's not a solution, since you gotta change battaries, so it's a pain.
I don't know what to say, seeing how you don't have a problem with it. The thing is: I go through my third WII Motion, so it's not just one defective item. And of course, I fasten it up to the controller every time. It doesn't help.
