They just started offering free $25 refill cards with phone purchases again

Remember to use Bing CashBack

Phone 1
Phone 2
Phone 3

thanks rbwilton

I understand that among the three, Phone 1 (t349) is most suitable for texting.
But for voice only, why would one want Phone 2 (t239) over Phone 1 (W233)?
The reasons I am asking are:
- I need one for voice only
- It appears that t239 isn't good for texting, so it must be good for voice
- It seems that the W233 is a nice phone as well, plus it's $10 cheaper

Thanks for any sincere and knowledgeable responses

35% BCB at the moment

I have recently purchased both the W233 and T349 thru these Tmobile deals, and I'd recommend the T349. The W233 ends up making you a few bucks after your figure in the free minutes and BCB, while the T349 ends up costing a few, but the T349 is a clearly superior phone. The T349 has a much better screen, a camera good for low rez daylight photos, a better music player, can take a larger 4gb microsd, and the kinda qwerty keypad makes it much easier to enter contact info and other data. Also you have email access in a pinch and the sound/voice quality seems better.

The T349 is also possible to unlock yourself with a few keypresses if you want to use it with a different carrier. Instructions here: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/987112?highlight_key=y&keyword1=samsung&lastpage=1

BTW - if you use BCB, be sure to keep your emails and take screen shots or printouts at checkout, since there have been issues with BCB not going thru automatically and MS needing additional proof to get your purchase counted. See the other recent Tmobile threads for details.

Thanks OP got t239 not sure if bing will work on prepaid but tried it anyway

It does, but as I said, you may have to follow up on your transaction to make sure it goes thru.

Thanks OP. Got two one for me and one for my mom.

The only thing is, they are now only available in Silver ?

I'm going to ask this before anyone else :
How do you stack FW CB and BCB?
Thanks a lot for your help.

You don't!
You have to choose one or the other.

"We are temporarily unable to take your order online. We apologize for the inconvenience"
Guess no BCB if one orders by phone

same deal here, bummer.

Good deal.

don't see tmobile for Cash Back on bings. please provide a link if possible., Thanks

Bing shows 35% promo in Explorer and doesn't show in FF, for me anyways.

It's in the area just under the search box, and above the search results.

No SIM card included this time around.

Only the T239 have bluetooth.

Just search for tmobile in bing. I just tried it and 35% CB for tmobile.

I got the same for the t349 a few times and now says back ordered.

I just bought the t349 and it does have bluetooth. That is a great phone for my light use. Very good sound quality and has some weight to it which is nice. I am happy with this model and would recommend it.

If you dont mind, Please give it for me because I really need this refill card.
Thank you anyway.

yes to only the first question. you just swap your sim into the new phone and your phone number and minutes transfer. sweet way to change phones. I have done it a couple times.

(got the order error when I tried)

Thanks for both of you, my order went through for t239.

Any idea how long will it take to show up Cash Back in BING?

My wifes cell is dead, can I swap the sim from a regular plan to this prepaid phone?

tx

Sorry for the double post, hicup after login to FW. ugh

We really need to add a FAQ for ALL prepaid phone deals for your question.

DarthEnol said: No SIM card included this time around.I didn't know that T-Mobile would be selling pre-paid phones without SIM cards, especially as they label each of these as a "Starter Kit".

The pre-paid phones I bought from T-Mobile in the past had always included the SIM card with the initial small amount on it. What's different this time around on their product description pages?

Good deal, but note terms:

Void if not activated within 90 days from purchase. If you don't refill within 90 days after your last refill expiration date, you will lose your account.

Ordered one, but bing not come yet...

yes. if it is T-Mobile. Else you need to unlock the phone.

immediately or 48 hours?

- Don't think SIM card is include - Started kit only cotains phone, battery, charger etc.

From T-Mobile website:

"Pick your prepaid phone kit and start talking. Each kit includes a cool wireless phone, starter airtime, a battery, a charger, and a hands-free headset. Refill your minutes whenever you need more. Limit 2 per household"

hem123 said: Any idea how long will it take to show up Cash Back in BING?Most likely, it won't show. So contact bing after 48 hours, and provide them all the screenshots. You will be good after that.

Yeah - I noticed that too! Last month they threw in the SIM card as well. Tricky TMO, tricky!

The SIM card is explicitly included on the W233 and T349:

Included Accessories

* Charger
* Battery
* Hands-Free Headset
* SIM Card
* English/Spanish user guide

http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/Detail.aspx?class=prepaid&ce...

http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/phones/Detail.aspx?class=prepaid&cell-phone=W233%20Renew

Since the T239 requires a SIM to work, not listing it on that phone's page is no doubt an error.

Skipping 90 Messages...

Well crap I wish I had waited before I got my refill card that I will be applying soon to extend my service. I wasn't sure if this deal would return before then.
