do i have to by the pair to get the bing CB? thanx
No ___________________________________________________________________ Does anyone know if the current HD promotion of "Buy More Save More" will negate the Bing CB? I purchased a washer from HD last week and used the BMSM code "BATH50HY" and got the $50. off of purchases over $500. but Bing 10% wasn't available. Thinking of canceling that order since not delivered.
If they don't combine ... using BATH100P5 should get you $100. off the OP's deal instead.
Note: this is YMMV as the bath codes are supposed to be for bath purchases but it worked like a charm for me.
And don't forget about the federal stimulus money rebate for energy star appliances. Varies by state so check your state's web site.
If you're in New York State, there are additional rebates. The "Great Appliance Rebate" will get you $75 for a qualifying Energy Star washer, and another $25 if you recycle your old washer in accordance with the program. Details here: New York's Great Appliance Swap Out
This program is federally funded, to find your State's status see this link: Energy Star Rebates

I'm in FL and our program runs from April 16 - 26th. Each state was doled out the Fed $$$ but sets their own distribution rules. Thinking of canceling my order but debating if want to go to the laundromat for a month.

Chances are the store sponsored sales will stop and they will be touting the government rebates as the "sale". The reason there are all these discounts now is to get people to buy now rather than wait a month.

No, I don't that's completely correct as all states seem to have different dates. I just checked and Georgia's started February 12th and is probably over by now.
Washington State just started on 3/15 with $100 washer rebate. Thanks Muley for the BB link, that deal + the $100 rebate makes for a pretty darn good price!
Too bad California's doesn't start until 4/22. California got close to 10% of the total allocation so I bet retailers are going to ease up on the deals when it gets close...
Do your research before you buy these front loader washer. I have one both of these LG. You have to do monthy maintenance, use special detergent, etc. Oh, your towls and cloths will smell moldy.
Check your local Electric Company for additional rebates... I know PECO (In PA) offers $100 MIR for Washers on qualifying Models (I checked and this model qualifies!) All you need to do is submit a rebate from with the receipt and be a current PECO customer. I heard most Energy companies have similar programs and other types of appliances qualify as well. Good luck!
Too bad for me, in Indiana they're only offering it on central air, furnaces/boilers, or heat pumps. I'm still in for one (set) but from BB as it was slightly cheaper.
Don't forget to check your water company for rebates. If you buy a high efficiency washer or toilet you can probably get a rebate. About two years ago I got a $300 rebate for my washer, Model # WM0642HW. If you buy a high efficiency washer, you do need to buy laundry detergent that has the "he" (High Efficiency) logo on it, or you will have problems.
And if you just want to go in the store and buy it and not worry about bing, you can go get a movers pack from the post office which has a 10% off lowes coupon that you can use, as Home Depot will accept competitors coupons.
If you are getting LG washer, I would consider getting extended warranty as my warranty paid off great for me.
within last 5 years: 1. motor replaced 2. Mother board (circuit board) fried and was replaced 3. something else had to be replaced - unsure what it was, it was just before the motor replacement.
All on my 3rd year of owning it. (worked without any issues for first 2 years)
Bootless said: I want to order a dryer. Does the free shipping include installation too? No, you have to connect the exhaust and, if a gas model, the gas.
I am not going to wait, when they had the cash for clunkers. I was looking for a vehicle before the cash for clunker program and complained when the dealers mysterilously raised prices when the program started
I can't find those Lowes movers packs any more in the Post Offices. I've gone into several lately and no dice. I have a couple still that I picked up long ago, but they are quite outdated... I hold onto them though in case Lowes will still take them.
FYI: washer dropped in price now. Go get your pricematch. There's also a 10% off for energy star. YMMV on that one though.
Bing CB is less though... Still have FW CB.

Also got mine delivered today. They did the installation and everything. Didn't have to connect the exhaust or the gas. I didn't have to buy any extra parts.

You scared me! I bought this washer yesterday from HD.
I just redeemed my rebate through the Ohio site successfully. It looks like some kind of database issue on their site. There's LG and LG Electronics as manufacturers. I unintentionally switched back and forth between the two and the full list DOES come up including this model.
Here's a screenshotof the Ohio site listing the wm2010c (the one sold at HD) listed.
