thanks for the update.

SU2300 actually is dual core.

Intel spec page

I have the Acer equivalent (AS1410). A good machine.

SU2300 is dual core: http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=42779

Edit: beaten

For those that don't know, this is basically identical to the Acer 1410 save for a few cosmetic differences. The su2300 is by far the best processor that was offered with this laptop, so if your looking for an ultra portable computer - this is a solid deal.

I have a slightly older model with no HDMI port and a single core CPU, love it. Would have liked to wait and buy this one but I needed a netbook six months ago, so I got what I got.

anyone know how to combine Bing with other CashBack at TD, if possible? like how to get Bing to stick around in the cart when using a diff link to shop?

someone said it's hard to get the BSB for TD. IS that true? How's TD? Good for return or exchange?

su2300/su4100/su7300 are all dual core and have much better performance than the single counterparts.

The su7300 deal of MS store of yesterday is superior for only $56+tax-CB but it's already gone.

what su7300 deal of MS store?

The SU7300 deal was for a 14" Lenovo. Apples and oranges.

comprable acer at Amazon: http://www.Amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-1410-2936-Widescreen-CineCrystal/dp/B002PIRE2M/

I want a red one (acer only?) with SU2300. Can't find.

I just ordered the red SU2300 (AS1410-2706) from Newegg earlier this week, but I think they are sold out now. And everyone seems to be sold out of the blue one, which was my first choice. They're available with the 743 processor, of course, but single-core.

If you really want that red one, Staples.com has it instock, but for $449 + tax.

What a shame... a netbook-like size with all the whistle and bells but only 6 hrs battery (in real life 4-5 hrs). They could've put a higher capacity battery, and it would be a true portable powerhouse (compared those 10" netcooks with Atoms).

I had 1410 with 40gb SSD. It was a sweet setup btw. hopefully next model comes out with higher capacity battery (advertised 8-9+ hr maybe?).

I love this computer. Was using the lt3103u, loved everything about it except the single core AMD processor - and voila! sold it on eBay and upgraded the processor to dual core, speakers, and memory capability, with win 7 thrown in. awesome.

beautiful screen, runs fast, plays hd video, love it!

But it's only a Celeron.... hehe
