I have been getting a lot of these when posting in the Free Stuff forum. And the threads are fairly innocuous, no indication they are under moderation, not that they would be. Is this a known issue? Have others experienced the same phenomena when posting? When I return to the thread a minute or less later, the post is usually there. I have an 8 month old PC running Windows 7 and am using the Firefox 12.0 browser.

It has nothing to do with the thread (typically....although there are some that are moderated) but rather something in it, be it original content or something quoted triggered an approval. Some common words are refer, conservative, tag, etc.... A good number of posts get caught in the filter, but as you noticed we typically have them approved fairly quickly

I'm getting them in OT. I've had more pop ups in the past week than I have had ever. Did the filters just get stricter or something? Most of them I can't imagine what word triggered the filter. I mean, cake? Is that a trigger?

This is a problem with web-based forums. Usenet is better.

Theyre not any stricter afaik...I think we just love cake *shrug*I do seem to be getting more than I ever did before, as well. You guys do a great job of approving them quickly, but still, it's disconcerting.
For example, I can't figure out which words in my post in this thread tripped the filter.
I make great cake, by the way.

I think I've made three posts since yesterday. Two of those have been pended. The rebel in me has censorship issues.....not to mention the delayed gratification.
