you can search for a ton of stuff and not have any results come up....frankly it's just a bad search engine

I'd say it's fixed but everyone will just complain about it anyway. It's fixed back to it's usual state of working. There were some server configuration changes that caused some issues.

i just searched "all forums" in active topics for "samsung" and it gave zero results obviously something is borked
