Hey Frugal,
If you have them set for instant, it should be pretty darn quick. There can be hiccups if there is a big backlog of emails to go out, but generally speaking instant means instant.
As far as I know, it isn't case sensitive.

anyway you can check my settings? My email is registered at fatwallet, it's gmail, not sure what to do to fix.

I found a very odd row in our do_not_email list, that matched your gmail.com address. I removed that, and I'll watch the email queue to see if any alerts are in there after a day or so.

Odd as in it wasn't your email address in plain text, but a mysql search for your email address turned it up. Looks like a charset issue. As long as I was there, I searched but didn't find any others like it.

Never had an issue before, but there can be a 2 day lag in receiving top alerts to an aol email address. This has been going on only for about 2 months. Any word? Thanks.
