UPDATE 1/19/05: Ugh. Haven't forgotten about you, but have not heard how we're resolving this with Hilton. Please be sure to work with our support staff to be sure we have all information to work with. Thanks for your patience!
any word? thanks.

We're working to coordinate formatting data in order to make tracking and reporting complete and accurate. If you are - or anyone else out there is - missing any transactions, please fill out a Support Ticket, and we'll credit your account and open an investigation with the merchant.

I am having a problem using the stores links. I can click on a merchant. my popup window will appear with the information in the URL, but the link is not completed. I am running Windows XP with Norton Antivirus 2006. I have disabled NAV, restarted my machine, tried from internet explorer, netscape and firefox all to no avail. any suggestions?

I am having the same problem. Only two (2) store links have taken me to the merchants website. Sometimes I see the pop-up, sometimes I don't, but I never get redirected to the website of choice. I've tried on various different stores. I have Windows XP, using Norton Internet Security 2005.

Have you cleared your cookies and deleted your temporary internet files? If that doesn't work, either reply here or send in a Support Ticket to let us know which stores your having trouble reaching... we'll look into it.

Thanks

Thanks,

I figured out the problem in Norton Internet Security 2005, the Fat Wallet website is considered an "ad", therefore, blocking any content from it. I am now able to get to the various websites from Fat Wallet.

Thanks again!!!

On your Buy.com store page, it says Use of coupon codes may void rebate..

Is this only for Buy.com or only the ones where it is specifically stated ?

Thanks !

As soon as we know a restriction like that, we add it to the Stores page (red asterisk) and merchant offers page (below the Cash Back offer). There are other stores with the same restriction. A general rule, though, is that promotions outside our merchant offers page may interfere. For example, if a merchant email contains a coupon code and the purchase follows a FatWallet Cash Back link, it is possible the email will get credit for the sale rather than FatWallet. That means we don't get a commission to share with you in the form of Cash Back. Bottom line is when we get paid, so do you. We try to make that happen as frequently as possible.

Not sure what you improved with Priceline, but my last two Priceline hotel stays have been reported to FatCash in a VERY FAST time (usually in 2-3 days). Unlike the other times when they were hardly ever reported and had to be manually entered!!!

Thanks!!

I'd much rather discuss this via Support Ticket, rather than discuss the details of your account in public.

However, a negative Available balance usually means a user has requested payment on a transaction/rebate that is later reversed.

Has anyone had issues with half.com not reporting under the 3% CashBack? I can track the clicks that I make, but none of my purchases has ever showed up by itself.

I took a look at their reporting stats, and nothing seems out of line. I see that you have notified us via Support Ticket for a missing transaction, which is the best way to go.

Up under issue #6, it mentions that MyPoints might hijack commissions, keeping them from Fatwallet. But I don't see a solution as to how to keep this from happening. If I run Spypot and Adaware, and clear my private data in Firefox between going to MyPoints and Fatwallet, will that solve the problem? Or maybe use IE for one and Firefox for the other? Or is it more complicated?

Thanks!

Hi,

The OP seems to be gerneral solutions that apply to all merchants. But I have a problem with only one merchant consistantly not reporting FatCash.

I have formed a habit of going through the FatCash page and then click on the stores of interest when I want to buy something. And I usually make sure there is a FatCash pop up window before I add things to cart, and when finished checking out I leave a note in that window with details of the order. I've done quite a lot of "when in doubt, start over"

So far the reporting from most (all but one) merchants have been automatic, including Dell, Staples, Sears, LNT, Gevalia, CompUSA, Target, Buy.com when there is no coupon, and others. I don't check my Cash Back history very often but when I did yesterday, I found that Circuit City missed it every single time for the past 6 months! (The history only goes back that far for me to check.)

I am pretty sure I don't have the host problem or the blocker problem and have set the browser's security to allow Fatwallet. I do not have other automatic re-directing programs running.

I wonder if this particular merchant has stricter requirements than other merchants. Am I the only one having this problem?

I prefer not to discuss the details of your account in public - I'm sure you understand. Please fill out a Support Ticket for each missing transaction. Remember to allow three weeks from the ship date for the transaction to be reported automatically by the merchant, and that we cannot investigate any transactions older than 6 months (we much prefer to hear from you within 2 months of the shopping date, though).

As for Circuit City, I have no indication of a reporting problem at this time, although we are seeing an increase in inquiries lately, the common denominator of which seems to be in store pickup.

Thank you very much! I'd prefer the same

Yes those problem ones for me were in-store pick-ups as well.

Since using your HOSTS file,I am getting this strange issue:

Back button won't work for many sites...I have to double click on back button to go back to the page.
And this has started after I started to use your file. Any idea how to fix it?

Delete the host file.

Does anyone have FatCash problem with Dell Home lately? I made a big purchase recenlty with FatCash denied. I have done it so many time with over $1000 in FatCash: linked from FatCash site, made the purchase, left a note in my click history window immediately. There was no way that I could have missed it. I am not going to let Dell get away from it.
