Any RSS feed from fatwallet? I think I saw it somewhere before but I couldn't find out where it is anymore.
Thanks.

That would be yummy.
First Google hit - haven't tried it meself.
seems i can get the initial listing from my phone with that feed and wap2.0 , but when i try to click the link itself, it tells me that something is up with the XML blah blah and i dont get the support page that u get when u click it in a normal web browser.
also that feed is out dated, wtf!
I'll assign an RSS project to one of the developers soon.
project is in progress.
OK. Here is a start on the RSS feed.....post in this thread if you have any useful suggestions as to what exactly you would like to see. You can get the hot deals list at http://www.fatwallet.com/rssfeed.php

Cool!
Has anyone gotten this working with the Trillian News plugin?
Yes, we just installed the news plug in for trillian and got it to work with no problem...
For the server: www.fatwallet.com
location : rssfeed.php
Can you read other news feeds with the trillian plug in?
Let me know if you need additional help.
Anyone using this?
I am still trying, cannot get Trillian to do it. Not sure if I am doing something stupid or not, and no time to look into it right now.
It was working fine using RSSReader, but now it's not able to access the feed anymore at the URL http://www.fatwallet.com/rssfeed.php.
I also had trouble over the weekend, but it seems to be up and working now. If you have any suggestions/comments on how to make this better (besides not working!), just let me know and I'll see if it's possible for us to do it.
If you are having problems getting this to work, try http://www.feedvalidator.org and enter http://www.fatwallet.com/rssfeed.php into the validate field and run the validator. This will ensure that the feed is currently correct. As this is a work in progress, there are some characters that get entered in messages that will cause an invalid XML output. As we find these, they will be replaced in the output. If the feed reports back as valid, then the problem may be with your reader.
Thanks for your input,
Mike
What readers do you ppl use?

Every tried Pluck?
I'm using Pluck for testing, and we had Trillian news plug in going as well.
It should work with any rss 2.0 compatible reader.
Done.
No hot flag, dead deals don't show up at all, at least for now.
I've got it running with SharpReader right now, seems to be fine... many thanks ![]()
