Posting links in posts...

You know how if you want to post a link to a URL in a post and use the http button instead of typing in the HTML code yourself, the [/L=Text]http://www.whatever.com[/L] appears at the very bottom of a post? If you're responding to someone point-by-point, it makes it difficult to add in a link, and then go all the way to the end of a post to cut and paste it back where it belongs...

Not a huge issue, but might be something you could take a look at...

bump cause this has always annoyed me

me too.

Apparently it doesn't annoy the developers enough...

Hey hot geek guys, is there anything we can change about that?

Anyone?!?!

Partial maybe you should show them a little leg to get their attention.

I'll do it! But then you're going to have to hike your skirt at the same time... Alright, ready? On three...

One!... Two!... ***Hey hot geek guys, are you watchin' or what?***

Yeah that is a very annoying problem. A little while back I think I had recommended it to be fixed, but it doesn't look like it is yet.

Try putting it in the Suggestion thread.

Problem has annoyed me as well. Now I just manually type in the links where I need them in a post

Kicking them will not solve your problems.

Use cut and paste.

You must have not read the first post carefully enough...

Duh. You, sir, are correct.

maybe you all haven't been to other forums because for whatever reason this is common thruout many many forums. Equally annoying in all of them and t hus as someone said you would need to talk to the actual developers of the code used by FatWallet nothing anyone here can do about this. or memorize the code and do it by hand

there is even the possiblity that the code has been updated to address this issue and it's just that Fatwallet hasn't updated. You have to think of what updateing would mean. Depending on what version we have here it might mean anything from downtime to completely loss and we have to start over.

Since it's more likely the last one it means we probably won't be updating to address such a minor (in the larger scope of things) issue. There's even the chance that this issue has never been resolved and updating wouldn't fix it. All in all I must simply suggest that you learn to deal with it and just code by hand. It becomes almost second nature after a while.
