.mobi ...How can we improve fatwallet.mobi for you?

Ratings, login and ability to reply are on the way for www.fatwallet.mobi. What else is important to YOU?

This thread will move to FatWallet forum after a few days in Hot Deals.

Ratings are up on .mobi
OOOPS, fixing glitch, back soon... We're buying some new toys (err devices) for better testing and bug-squashing.

What you asked for most, with questions to clarify your desires:

Sort by recent topics.
Add ability to choose number of posts displayed (12, 20, 100).
Allow reply. Quick reply?
Allow title-only search. Make default?
Add page navigation (previous/next or page numbers?) to top.


I'll get next most popular up soon. Since design time is a bit limited, we'll focus first on features not requiring such attention.

i prefer to look at the full-fledged site on my iphone... but the modern looks terrible... any plans to fix that??

edit: mods: it looks much different than the classic... i'm no web designer, but whatever was changed in the layout makes the thread titles look like small paragraphs, and the page ends up being about 5 times as long as it would be in classic. sorry if that isn't much help, and sorry for bringing it up because of the off topicness, this is feedback for mobi. just kinda frustrating, i want to embrace modern, but i can't fully until i can view it on my phone... i suppose if mobi is improved enough ill just use that.

I need a view sorted by most-recent THREAD first, not most recent response. I'm tired of seeing 2 month old threads on the .mobi site because of the old "bump" philosophy.

Ability to change the number of displayed posts (by default 20, I prefer 100) without logging in.

basic text based site ..so it can load up faster and can post easily.

Optional newer view would be nice.

And also.. if not already in place ... an email based posting or responses to posting.. say <postingid_forumnumber>@fatwallet.mobi maybe harder to moderate as is and may need smarter filter system. Default Cash Back links on all keywords.. rather than going to Cash Back page and then clicking thru..

I also want the ability to be able to search within the thread... I usually use it when I am in side Target or BB or OD and want to quickly find SKU for something I remember vaguely !

I would like to search by categories like you can in the real fatwallet (on the left). I like to go into a store and when I'm interested in buying something, seeing how it compares to prices to similar products on fatwallet.

Include date the post was Originated. I don't think people care about most recent post date since they expect to see those on top anyway. Helps me find newer deals easier.

Bingo. I'm often stuck logging into the normal website just so I can search while on the go.

Improve the search at the forum level and provide one at the thread level.

Too many times, I will search for a particular store, only to have to wade through several pages of non-related threads to find the one I am looking for.
