When I asked why this thread, a deal at a high-end steak house, got moved from "Hot Deals" to "Grocery Coupons & Deals " and was told "Its food...food is grocery." I see that other restaurant deals got moved as well: I'm a bit baffled by this decision. Everything I've read in the "Grocery Coupons & Deals" forum seems to point toward grocery stores and not restaurants. Talk of stores, UPC symbols, coupons being between a manufacturer and retailer, different aisles within stores, expiration dates, etc. To me restaurants and grocery stores are rather distinct despite both having food. For one anyone looking for grocery coupons is unlikely to be interested in dining at a high-end restaurant. IMO - restaurant deals belong in Hot Deals and not Grocery Coupons & Deals. Thoughts? |
