FW is great and all but if I were going to do an internship I would find something more reputable. No offense. Internships are valuable when done in a company more known. I mean we are talking about a website thats basically a forum with a Cash Back structure. If you're going to do an internship go to a much bigger and more known company. Like I said, FW is great but most of the people who know about it or visit it are teenagers and broke people. |

I've been to several national conferences where the majority of the people have heard of fatwallet (and the conferences were NOT affiliate marketing or retail related). |

As younger marketing employees rise through the ranks, except consumer companies to further embrace forums as promotional tools. And as someone who does entry-level IT recruiting, the company a candidate interns with doesn't really matter, as long as the candidate can come up with concrete examples that demonstrate their mastery of the skills I'm looking for.
