Internships? I have no idea. Someone else will have to answer that.

Experience base for employment? Again, someone else will have to chip in.

Wow, I'm just a cornucopia of knowledge today, aren't I?

Yes, probably will have an internship program in 2009.

Experience depends on the job applied for.

FW is great and all but if I were going to do an internship I would find something more reputable. No offense. Internships are valuable when done in a company more known. I mean we are talking about a website thats basically a forum with a Cash Back structure. If you're going to do an internship go to a much bigger and more known company. Like I said, FW is great but most of the people who know about it or visit it are teenagers and broke people.

Agreed that we're unknown to many.
However, when it comes to the big tech companies (and even retailers), we're VERY much known.

I've been to several national conferences where the majority of the people have heard of fatwallet (and the conferences were NOT affiliate marketing or retail related).
A few of our last batch of interns have moved on to work for VERY big companies that EVERYONE has heard of.

Like I said, FW is great but most of the people who know about it or visit it are teenagers and broke people.FW and other forum sites are quite well-known among the marketing departments at the company I work for (an F50 consumer products company). As younger marketing employees rise through the ranks, except consumer companies to further embrace forums as promotional tools.

And as someone who does entry-level IT recruiting, the company a candidate interns with doesn't really matter, as long as the candidate can come up with concrete examples that demonstrate their mastery of the skills I'm looking for.

By the way, thanks for reminding me to add you to my ignore list.

It does not matter. Deep down inside know you're still going to look at my posts. Nobody can resist.

Same here!! Everytime I see a deal here and try to get it but find the item OOS, I wonder in the back of my head if there is a Fatwalleter nearby my location, snatching up the deals before I do!!!

I concur, but if you come to think of it, Fat Wallet means Fat Wallet's fat wallet. In other words, few users = no FW effect = Fat Wallet's thin wallet.
