I'm in "modern view" (not sure if it matters) and it went away for me on the first click.

What browser and version are you running?
Senturon, are you using Firefox? If so, can you share what plug-ins you are using?
Using Firefox 3.0 with Adblock Plus, the only thing that may be interfering with it...
can you turn that off and try to close the banner?

Had you explicitly blocked that banner or anything else on FatWallet with Adblock Plus? Just curious if that functionality was broken by just having Adblock Plus installed or if you had to do something to make that happen.

I had the same problem with ABP installed, I disabled ABP on fatwallet and the problem went away.
