Onion, Please tell us more what you're thinking in terms of hosting small files for members. |
Why when I can host on places like Photobucket and share the files in multiple places without requiring them to sign up (like with my not so computer savvy family)? |

This website has way too much of a "static" and orderly feel to it and I think the ability to host small files would bring in some life. Also there needs to be some chaos. Chaos = good and lack of chaos = boredom. |
Onion, you need to learn a word it is called "tact". |
How on earth would file-hosting create a dynamic feel? |
I'm curious as to what type of files. I'd like to start having product images in hot deals, but i'm pretty sure that's not what you're thinking. I don't think space or bandwidth is much of a concern, but abuse and legal liabilities probably will be. |

I can see storing rebates/screenshots as a useful tool. A lot of sites take rebates down after the promotional period and sometimes it is hard to find them again if fatwallet kept them stored here it would be cool that way I can just go here instead of googling for a cached copy. I would think 1mb per file should be more then enough. Most of them will probably be PDF anyways. |

Now that could be very helpful. Maybe add it to the quick summary edit. Upload rebate form for this deal. |

Chaos = good and lack of chaos = boredom. It would bring useless clutter! If you want SD so bad, go there! I think FW is great the way it is, heading! Go get your reps there since reps don't belong here. for someone who is disatisfied with FW so much, why are you always here complaining. |
