Pics from the internet are not visible. I have to save them locally before posting. Please fix that. Thanks.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to here you're having a problem. Could you be a little more specific about what's going wrong?

Are you trying to attach a file from the web?
Is the attachment successful? If not, what error message are you seeing?
Or are you saying the attachment is successful, but the image still doesn't display in the post?

Right, the image still doesn't display in the post if attachment successful from the web.

But if first to save that image to my HDD and upload it display in the post. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

I was able to duplicate the problem and have submitted this as a bug to our development team. I'll update when this gets fixed.

Bump.

Fixed! I've tested and confirmed that this is now working properly.

Thanks, but, it is now not Uploaded Attachments, but rather links to pics original locations with a small image displayed. This approach is not as good, becouse if the merchant pulls the file the image will no longer disply. The system needs to copy the file in the link posted and host it.

I don't want to have to downlowd jpgs, pdfs, etc., then upload them to FW as an attachment. If I supply a URL when adding an attachemnt, FW should download it to their server instead of just linking it.

See my post here: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/937024/m14058200#m1405... for the fallout of the current URL attachment process.

please oh please make it so I can upload .JPG and not have be forced rename the file to .jpg. I don't get the reason for that.

The OP problem has come back.
