Howdy! So, I don't too often alert the mods about things, but every once in awhile I find a repost or something. At the top of the alert mods box (after I click on the button), it indicates the name of the thread and the address of the thread. However, I always get a note in my response from the mods which indicates: "Please include your username and a link to the thread in question, as well as your suggested course of action." Isn't the link provided by your reporting system? And, I did include my username this last time, but still got the "Please include your username" part.
"Note: Please do not submit your alert more than once. The moderators will be alerted to the thread and message you clicked on. If you are reporting a Repost, please include the link to the original thread." Maybe add some lines which says: And ... if you know the thread already, then please don't send me a message telling me to tell you the thread (unless that makes it easier for you, but then include that in the lines above on information to provide). If the mod response is standard, please adjust to something like "If you didn't this time, please make sure to include your username next time." Thanks! |
