I just typed up a long response and when i clicked submit it said "Post is pending approval".

Why is that?

You could have been trying to post in a topic that's under moderation. If you could give me a link to the topic you replied to, I can give you a more detailed answer.

Glad you see it now. We really do try to be quick about approvals. Normally doesn't take more than a few minutes.
