Okay, posting a quick question here instead of starting a new topic - Do I need to make a minimum number of posts before I can PM other members? I've been lurking here for awhile but just recently joined...
There is a short time limit after sign up that prevents you from sending private messages. It helps prevent sign up and spam from private messages. An issue we see from time to time.
