I was thinking that it would be nice to also have a "for Sale" forum on Fatwallet. Somewhere people can either try to sell used or new stuff they have acquired, but no longer need. Maybe passing on some deals they achieved here on Fatwallet back to the users. There obviously will be comments to each deal on it's validity/value to keep outrageous deals from being perpetrated on the forum. Fatwallet would assume zero responsibility for each sale/transaction,
There was a For Sale/For Trade forum years back, but it was closed when we chose to narrow our focus back down to finding and sharing deals. eBay and craigslist are just two of the more popular examples of services which handled it better than we thought we could at the time.
Of course, we're always revisiting the idea, since always at least a little interest in this idea. It's easy to just create a new forum, but it's much harder to provide an adequate service for everyone.
