I normally have my threads per page set to 20. But then when I click on Hot Deals, I get 40 per page. I double-checked my preferences and they are indeed set to 20. What a pain in the keester.

What hard/software are you using that you can see 20 lines at a time? Firefox takes up the first 1-1/2 inches of my screen, Fatwallet takes up the next 2-1/2 inches (both classic and modern) and I can only see about 11 items without scrolling.

Edit to add: Mine does show 20 topics at a time.
I'm guessing your feedback is that you'd rather have 10 topics per page? If so, currently you can set that in your account preferences.I think his feedback is that most people can't reasonably see twenty items per page, so there's really no disadvantage to 40.
Obviously, if people set 20 they should see 20, but I'm all for a much larger default.
