Why is my forum list messed up? You know, the one on the forums front page.

When they did this infernal page design change, all of them started being listed again. Now, they are appearing in a different order than previously.

Is this more change for its own sake, or are you trying to slowly drive me insane? Please, just put this site back the way it was before you broke it.

Sorry for the confusion. We are currently testing the impact of sorting by popularity vs sorting alphabetically (after hot deals and black friday that is)

So, it's just change for its own sake.

Why don't you just randomly replace the Hot Deals forum with Folger's Coffee without telling anyone and test the impact of that? Some people like Folger's.

May I suggest that the WELCOME forum still be on top as new users are more likely to see it and read it.

This hunting for my favorite fora every day because their position changes is getting old fast.

Now they are listed alphabetically. Is this the "fix?"

PS: This means that the Welcome forum is last.

Again, apologies for any distress. We expect to leave them alphabetized, with the exception of Hot Deals being pulled to the top.

Re: Welcome Forum, it was at the top before we started testing just recently, and still VERY few looked at it. I'm sure there are better ways to both welcome new members and point them in that direction. Thanks for the observation and concern, though.

Are there plans to undo any of the other unnecessary changes?

I'd suggest not testing on the live, production server.....
