Citizen's bank, indirectly.

and that doesn't charge this as a cash advance. nice! I have Chase, but I believe that charges as a cash advance. BoA ROI is 1%, not sure if it is also a cash advance.

Thanks a lot. As I read the terms, it seems the limit is 100/250 (day/month), what do you mean 3K? Also I remember it said the fee will be waived until June 1, is that correct? Thanks.

250/month x 2 (my wife has an account) x 6 months. I have not yet tried it this month.
In response to the other poster, I don't use the citizen's bank card directly, as I would only get 1% back that way.

Just got an email this morning: "Updates to Your Serve Consumer User". Note sure is there any restrict for funding by credit card after I took a glance.
We’re writing to inform you of changes we’ve made to the Serve Consumer User Agreement. The updated Agreement is now viewable online at Serve.com/docs/Serve_Consumer_User_Agreement.
Highlights of some of the changes to the Agreement include but are not limited to: Email verification (Section 3 d) Our new functionality now allows you to verify your email address through a link we send to your email address. Back-Up Funding (Section 4 b) We’ve updated this Section to explain the Back-Up Funding process and application more thoroughly. Sub-Accounts (Section 7) Due to new Federal Regulations, we had to adjust the feature capability available to Sub-Accounts. As a result, Sub-Accounts may only request and receive funds from their Master Accountholder. In addition, the transactions conducted by the Sub-Account(s) are counted against the respective Master Account transaction limits going forward. Restricted Activities and Required Licenses (Section 11) We outlined additional activities and types of sales that are unlawful or otherwise prohibited by the terms of our Agreement. Risk and Reserve (Section 15 d) We’ve updated and clarified the conditions under which we can require a Reserve on your Account. Please review the Agreement carefully as the changes therein are effective on your Account as of February 28, 2012.
If you have any questions, please call us at 1-800-954-0559 or send us a message through Contact Us page.
Thanks,
The Serve Team

My account was just shut down today as well, after I paid another account via credit card and then withdrew the money from that other account. Looks like they're tightening up pretty strictly. Too bad. At least the $250 monthly limit wasn't that useful anyway.

It'll most likely be refunded to the payment source.

Do not use credit cards that are not in your name for funding. It leads to automatic review and freeze. Adding AU cards in your name but with a different billing address is also likely to result in freeze and a request to fax in a statement (which, of course, would not have your name). So, looks like you need to be primary or joint card holder on a card with a different billing address (and be ready for the freeze/review). OTOH, cards in any name at the same address work fine as funding source.

They closed down my account and my wife's account. Each was under different names but what probably did us in was sharing the same card between them. Oh well, it wasn't much money anyways.

Frankly, I'm not sure how Serve intends to stay competitive as a business. With their low funding limits, stringent anti-churning algorithms, and (planned) transfer fees, I can't think of any good reason why I'd choose Serve over the likes of Venmo, Amazon Payments, or even PayPal.

Some family members had Serve accounts AND old RevolutionMoney accounts converted later to Serve. Recently the Serve accounts were closed (the ones that were originally Serve). I received a refund for $3, which was the balance on one of them. My wife, who, I think had the same balance, was BILLED for $3 instead - the charge appeared on her credit card.

Maybe either you or them goofed up and to cover they billed the other account w/cross linked info ? Just a guess. I want nothing with that company, too abrupt, rude and unexplained closures, but was fun while it lasted. They wanted something for nothing and so did we, so worked out fine until the one way "divorce"

Send up to $1000 per day, up to $2500 Max with CCHmm, must be targeted, my email differs by: "Increased load amounts –– now you can add up to $200 daily and $1,000 monthly from your debit card"

Anyone have any experience with sending from A -> B and then back from B -> A? I've only been going in one direction and was considering double dipping. I've had no problems using Amazon payments in that fashion.

These new limits are making me consider getting the PayPal debit card. My biggest hesitation is the PayPal-ness of the debit card.

Watch out of serve.com by AMEX. It is a scam. It asked me to fax my social security card to them... bad idea. It took my friend 3 years to clear up his credit record. I asked for my $25 refund to close the account. They say they have no way to refund me. .. my money is gone to the con artist. I have to file a dispute charge to my AE credit card and need to fax the dispute form for the dispute.
DO NOT TOUCH SERVE.COM BY AMEX.... IT IS A BIG SCAM
