I received an email from Propser.com, the upshot of which was that if I applied for a loan by midnight tonight (6/26) and it was funded they would provide me a $100 gift card. I looked into it, the origination fee is $10.00 for a $2,000 loan, I see no reason I can't pay it off the day it funds. So at best I figure I'm getting $85-$90 dollars out of this, but I'm a grinder and the work is minimal. The terms state:

To be eligible for the $100 Amazon Gift Card you (i) must be the recipient of this email; (ii) must post a loan listing on Prosper.com between June 24, 2012 7:00AM and June 26, 2012 11:59PM; (iii) have to reach Verification Stage 3 within 1 week of posting the listing; (iv) cannot have posted a loan listing on Prosper.com within the past 30 days; and (v) may not withdraw your loan listing. If you meet these criteria, Prosper.com will send an electronic Amazon Gift Card to the email you provided in your loan application. This promotion cannot be combined with any other promotional offer from Prosper.com. Eligibility for a loan is not assured and requires that a sufficient number of investors commit to invest in your loan. Refer to Borrower Registration Agreement for all terms and conditions. All loans made by WebBank, a Utah-chartered Industrial Bank, Member FDIC.

So there is a requirement to have received the email, not sure if anybody else had it come in to their mail and missed it, so figured I'd post a notice about it.

From what I can find, they will do a hard pull when the loan funds, not worth 100 bucks to me.
