Looking to purchase Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT. Got the following quote:
MSRP: 29,405 Invoice: 26,704 Price: 26,471 less $2,000 rebate = $24,471 + Tax, license, etc.
Also have price from another dealer on XLT Premium:
MSRP: $29,150 Invoice: $26,736 Price: 26,550 less $2,000 rebate = $24,550 + Tax, license, etc.
Seems pretty standard pricing - these are only "internet" inquiry quotes from dealers, may be able to negotiate a little more.... |

Bought mine last October:
1. 2002 Ford Focus ZTW wagon 2. $17,930 Sticker Price 3. $17,200 Invoice 4. $14,700 Price paid 5. $2,500 rebate
It's a lot slower than the '95 Maxima it replaced, but being able to haul around mountain bikes without removing their wheels is great. |

Prices Are Approximates, since this was a few years ago.
1) 2001 Toyota Echo 2) MSRP $14,200 3) Invoice $11,800 4) Price $12,000
To get this deal I called around to all sorts of dealers and asked to speak to a sales rep who needed one more sale to reach a certain bonus level. I let that rep know that I was buying a car in the next three days, before the month was over. I then told the rep what build of an Echo I was looking for, and asked what deal he could offer me. (This was at the end of a month, though would have been more effective at the end of a quarter). I was willing to drive about 2 hrs or so, which greatly expanded my options. After a little searching I found one dealership that would cut me a deal. Luckily, that dealership was pretty close too. |

<< 2003 BMW 325i 4 dr
MSRP: $28500 Invoice: $26100
price i'll be paying w/ TT&L: $23000 >> I'm really curious how you were able to get this price, given that 325i INVOICE price for European Delivery is $23.5k without any options. You indicate that you paid $23k with TT&L, which would mean that your price was $21k after dealer markup but before TT&L.....so basically that you paid $2500 below European Delivery invoice.
VERY curious. |

Actually, I'm curious too! Please share. I just built my own BMW on their website, and I'm going to do some fax attacks sometime in the near term. Also planning to do to Europe to take advantage of the cheaper price.
Also, does BMW take trade-ins also? |

My girlfriend's second cousin was the Vice President of BMW-NA before he retired. I just had a talk with him and he along this info to me about prices:
$27,800 - 325i MSRP in USA $25,855 - 325i MSRP European Delivery Program --------------------------------------------- $25,460 - 325i Confidential Wholesale Price $23,530 - 325i Confidential European Delivery Program Wholesale Price
What I heard is this. You can actually get some dealers here to do the ED program with discounts. Best bet is to use the $23,530 ED wholesale price, add whatever options, add in the $695 destination charge, and tack in another $1200-$1500 and that's the price you pay for.
This would be greatly less than buying here in the States, plus, you get to see Europe all for a cost of an airplane ticket $25,425 would be the base-price for a brand new 325i (plus Tax, Title, and License where appliable).
Also, just to let you guys know, the 2004's 300's are the same price as this years.. so if you're planning on buying new, it's probably better to wait a few weeks when the 04's come in.
Azurik (thinking he could smooze with his GF's cousin a bit and get something even better). |

Invoice Price: $21,700 Price Paid: $20,700
Incentives/Etc: New car at the start of a new model year, so no incentives. Paid $4000 down and 5.9% APR. Could've picked up a 2003 for $19.2k and 2.9% with zero down, but wanted the 2004. |
