Still going with my 3 Discover 0% for life. It has been a few years. Lately, I pump 2 cents of gas on each twice per month. |

To setup recurring payments through paypal: *snip* I just used this method to create 2 monthly recurring payments. The account that the funds are sent to (Two 0.01 recurring monthly payments) automatically deducts 0.01 from each payment for fees. I hope they don't close this loophole or figure things out. I'll check my Discover card tomorrow to see if the payments went through.
Thanks!
Just an FYI, I had a subscription like this going for over a year on my Citibank card. I just got notified this morning that my subscription was canceled because the card was "refused." I haven't sent an email to Paypal to find out what that means, but I'm assuming they've figured out what I've been doing over the past 12 months.
I might try to setup a PP account for my wife and go that way, but I'm not sure that'll work either.
Bottom line, make sure you read the emails you get from Paypal regarding the subscription. I usually toss them but just happened to open the one I got this morning and saw the cancellation notice. |

Disregard my post above...I didn't realize I had my subscription going so long that my card actually expired. I changed the settings for my card and restarted the subscription. Still, it's probably good practice to keep an eye on things like that to avoid getting nailed with the interest increase. |

Initial balance of $10,000 down to $3xxx.xx already, but payments keep dwindling. How low can they go? I started off at $200/month, then $198...now $70. Is there a floor? |

There's a rumor going around that Citibank will raise their minimum payments to 5% on all for life bt accounts. I pray that this is only a rumor. Has anyone heard about this? |

For the paypal subscription button, I received the following message: "You cannot use an e-mail address or card number that belongs to an existing PayPal account. If you have a PayPal account, please log in. If you don't, please change the e-mail address or card number and try again." So I had to create a different e-mail address. No big deal. I wonder whether you can issue refunds to yourself too, and still have the transactions count. That way you avoid the 1 penny fee! |
