Seems like an easy $50, but since they keep extending the offer I just put it off. Any expiration date beyond 4/15/05 ?
EDIT : didnt read the link, 5/31 now. |

nope

but you'll need to maintain a minimum balance of $5,000 for 90 days if you want your $50.
If the account is closed before interest is credited, accrued interest for that statement period will not be paid. |

Like jpsmoney said, I received the $50 bonus exactly 90 days after the account was funded. Now, thinking about asking the wife to open another account since the promotion is one per customer, not per household. Has any couple had success with getting two bonuses using the same address? |

im glad i opened this account. their site is very informative, has a lot of options and their rates continue to rise. they also sent me some nifty checks with cartoon characters and stuff on em had to deal with customer service on a few occassions and was helped very graciously in phone conversations. for a free $50, why not take a chance on this account?!? |

Q: Can I set up a monthly savings deposit from my checking account at another bank to increase my money market account? A: Absolutely. In fact, weekly or monthly scheduled deductions are a great way to increase your savings balance. You can set this up online, once you are logged in and have set up and provided the necessary information, or call us directly at 1-866-BankMet (1-866-226-5638).

New link:
http://www.mettrack.com/MMA050106/
$50 bonus with $5000 minimum deposit to keep for 90 days.
$5000*0.035/4+50 = $93.75 interest over 3 months is equivalent to 7.5% APY 3-month CD.
Thinking of parking an amount of money here. |
