People also found that offer code HGW1 which is for MBNA WorldPoint Card gives 10% rebate too, and no limitation on stores, $25 monthly rebate limit until July 2005. It works as $100 purchase give you $10 credit back and 90 points before July 2005, then 100 points after.

Update: 10% is good on any purchase, thanks robin0h and alyosha.

Example: Spending $1000/month will give you $25 + 975 points.

Update The $25 credit was based on calendar month and posting date (not charge date).

OP Thanks A Lot!

Just applied and got $5K credit limit (did not expect that, since I carry $30K on other MBNA card... but they asked me weather I have sufficient liquid assets to pay it off and I said "Yes" and the application was approved)

Update: I was not asked for source code or any other code. If you are asked for one, just told them that I found the info on the web. If you are asked for a code, hang up and call again.

Looks like this is the best rewards card for everyday purchases for the next year...

I am glad to see somebody can take advantage of this offer. I am getting one too even I have no balance to transfer. It is easy to get the $25x12=$300 instant bonus on $250 per month spending, my average monthly bill is like $1000.

OK, so where are the details I can read?

I don't see anything on the MBNA site about a 10% bonus for this card and it's been my experience that when cards offer a bonus for "many everyday purchases" they are referring to specific products from specific manufactures. uPromise is an example of this. Don't be counting on getting 10% on much of anything.

I got this offer from a snail mail. It says "grocery stores, drugstores, hardware stores and restaurants" for 10% bonus, maybe includes more stores. More details may come with you new card, or you can call that 800 number to find out.

I just got a new version of this solicitation....

Only 5% cash back to 12/04, on drugstores, grocery, hardware, and restaurants.

No annual fee, 5.9% APR, Worldpoints (net of the rebates), 1-800-437-0180.

alert mods

Is there a BT fee?

Could i just get a check to deposit into my checking account instead of a BT?

alert mods

I received a solicitation in the mail today for a worldpoints MBNA card.
It was 0% APR on BT for a year, but with a 3% transaction fee.
The offer is in the trash, so I cannot provide further details. I don't think this is an identical offer to the OP, but more of a heads up to look for any transaction fees for those considering the card for a BT.

I just called and they asked for a 4-digit priority code. Can anyone help me out?

CAN WE GET A SCAN???

Finally got someone on the phone at MBNA... Apparently they cannot convert cards cross-group, so I had to apply separately to receive the card then perform a reallocation of my credit line .... kept $2,000 on AAA (the minimum for a Plat Plus card), and transferred $11,900 to my new WorldPoints.

My offer had 3% BT fee Max $75, and did not offer a promo APR... just 5.9% on everything.

I want to reiterate that the cash rewards limit seems to be $25 per month no matter which solicitation you got.... that's only $500 in spending, folks.

Pretty easy to max out...

If this 10% like the OP says on everyday purchases, it would only take $250 spend to max out. That's 2 trips to the grocery store for Marge.

You're right.. even easier for the 10% folks... mine was 5%, hence my math... but my APR was lower.... oh, the tangled webs MBNA weaves.
