CitiBusiness = 800-850-7986
M - F 8am - 8pm (I think. I may be off on the house, but def M - F)

This is the number I used for my recent CitiBusiness card. There is also another CitiBusiness (Credit Card Status 800-288-4653 8:00AM-8:00PM EST) number in the Quick Summary on the first page.

EDIT: Mention about Quick Summary.

Updated Quick Summary with RBS, National City, and slightly different instructions for CapOne.

Has anyone tried the number given for Citi recently? I've been trying it and the phone just keeps ringing. Thanks

Edit: Nevermind, I was finally able to get through to a live person.

Just updated the Quick Summary with:

National City Credit Card Services: 800-282-7541
RBS: 888-426-1114 #3
M&T Bank: 800-545-7899 #3,#2 wait to speak to an agent even if 'still under review'
Wells Fargo: 800-967-9521
SunTrust Bank: 800-786-8787
Barclays/Juniper/Bank Atlantic: 866-663-6536 #0 to speak to an agent
Wachovia: 800-922-4684

BOFA (FIA) business platinum card: they will email you in a day or so with an acceptance code and TIN (your SSN if sole) to check status:

Inherently the flaw in their security model is the URL contains this magical acceptance code that you never would have gotten when applying online:

https://newbusinesscard.bankofamerica.com/status.asp?ID=BX01234567890123&varURL=1
(i blanked out my acceptance with BX0123467..123 for example)

BX=business i guess and the #'s following are the acceptance. fit it into the boxen
and put your TIN or SSN and get your instant reply.

Oddly this card says MBNA issued by FIA.

Better than calling i spose Maybe be applicable to other BOFA cards? dunno. I hate rejection in person lol

>$30K line btw

Good thread.

I've had some trouble getting ahold of a real person at citi in the past.

The Chase number 800-480-1870 (MF 8AM-10:30PM S 9AM-8PM EST) now says they are closed during weekends.

I just called and checked my status with Capital One. The first option is now #4 not #3 as described in the summary.

Added Barclays/Juniper Business: http://www.bizaccountservice.com/

Works for all Barclays biz cards (e.g., BankAtlantic Biz, Midwest Air Biz).

lhendricks92, your time clock seems a year faster than us in the summary page

don't you know i'm from the future?

fixed.

The BOA online link in OP does not seem to work for me. Anyone else have this problem?

I have noted the addition of new cards on my credit reports BEFORE I've received formal notification from the issuer......

r0man said: Barclays/Juniper/Bank Atlantic: 866-663-6536 #0 to speak to an agentThis just took me to customer service. However, the rep transferred me and gave me a # of 800-308-6008. I don't know if this will work for the biz side (Bank Atlantic). I applied for 1 of each (biz/personal) and it gave me the status for the personal card (Performance Bicycle Plat MC).

for the BOA post...
yea, doesn't work for me too.
Though they approved me...i got to know as it appeared on my exp. report. I applied on 09/24 ..quite fast.

Don't know if this was posted yet, but CitiBusiness phone number is now automated:

Thanks, I was approved!

Bump for Chase:

Chase automated system:800-945-2006 (gives status of both personal and business apps). If you applied for several apps, pressing * after hearing the approval details would get you to the next app. Woo-hoo!

Anyone has the number for GE Money Bank? Or would the customer service line off the website be the best option?

Connects to representitive to get status after automated ID validation, etc... I hung up before the CSR was connected after my learning experience with Chase. Just a heads up.

I just called Wachovia number in quick summary and it appears that it is just a regular customer service phone #. Among the automated options there was not one to tell you the status of recent cc application.

Are you doing an AOR without telling us the info? I'm mildly heartbroken.

Nope, how could I ?! My wife just applied for a Wachovia personal card intrigued by generous lines reported here. There are several considerations as to why:
1) she's expecting to make a fairly large purchase at CITI Bank in the next few days (to the tune of $25K+$1K). This will create a "natural" BT opportunity.
2) It's (believed to be) good to expand the list of issuers on one's credit report, and Wachovia is an independent issuer that neither my wife nor I have a card with.
3) I'm curious as hell to learn which report Wachovia will pull for a CC app (they pull TU for checking accounts where we live). I let the lady go first b/c my EX (in case Wachovia pulls EX) won't be able to hold the blow as well as my wife's.
4) If Wachovia pulls TU for my wife and gives a generous credit line, I'd think about applying for the business card ...

Ok, well that's acceptable. I applied for that Wachovia Biz card and they pulled EQ for me in DC. Good luck to your wife.

The M&T number currently in the thread is for personal cards only.

For M&T Elan Business cards: 800-364-9648 (Card Underwriting). Note this is not automated, you will get a live person up front. Also, they seem to need 10 days to get an app out of review status (I applied on a Monday, was advised on Friday to call back next Wednesday).
