Only two ways to get the opening deposit in: Visit a local branch or transfer from an existing account. Otherwise, looks like a great deal. |

I am getting burned by eTrade. I got just over $16 last month for interest on over $20k. Wow, I gotta find a better way...so much for 5.05% APY. BAIT AND SWITCH!! |

Well, $20K at .95% gets you $190 a year interest. Divide that by 12 you have $16 a month. The best you can do nowadays is double that with a few banks offering 2% or a bit more but no bank has had 5% in the last year or so. |
