I can't tell a difference between this thread and the sticky thread, except this thread has a lot higher amount of incorrect, outdated information.

What's the eligibility to apply? Only two ways to get the opening deposit in: Visit a local branch or transfer from an existing account. Otherwise, looks like a great deal.

UFB Direct Traveller Savings down to 2.0%.

UFB Direct Traveller Savings now down to 1.1% APY

E*Trade Complete Savings 1.95 -> 1.70.

EDIT: Added to this thread by mistake, will also add to current Savings APY-tracking thread.

Alliant down to 2.25% as of June 1

E*Trade Complete Savings 1.95 -> 1.70.

I don't know where you got that from but since it's been at 0.95% for weeks.

OOPS, I didn't notice you wrote that in March.

I am getting burned by eTrade. I got just over $16 last month for interest on over $20k. Wow, I gotta find a better way...so much for 5.05% APY. BAIT AND SWITCH!!

Well, $20K at .95% gets you $190 a year interest. Divide that by 12 you have $16 a month. The best you can do nowadays is double that with a few banks offering 2% or a bit more but no bank has had 5% in the last year or so.

UFB Direct down to 1.85%
(Now that there are no more stickies, maybe we should breathe some life into this original rate thread.....)
