Playing with the URL, I was able to find the promotion for double points on the regular Blue card. Same dates, however, it is only double points on Supermarkets, Drug stores and gas stations, and I prefer to use my CIti Dividend (5%) for that. But just in case it helps anyone:

Has anyone been able to enroll Costco TrueEarnings card?

What would be the best card for $35,000 per year in tuition?

The American Express seems to be the best because I think this would qualify as an "other purchase" and I would get 1.5% instead of 1% with Citibank Divident card. Also, I think the limit is $50,000 on American Express.

But I see posters saying that the Universal is better. Any suggestions on what card (American Express, Citi Dividend, or Universal) would be best for this situation?

Thank you!

anyone know why my card wouldn't be accepted for this deal? actually it's the double membership points that didn't work on my AMEX blue.

If you vist the Hot Deals forum, you will realize that Staples GC's come in handy.

Sis, is that you?

I received a post card in the mail, but its double points for dining from Mar 1 to Apr 15. The URL to signup is www.AmericanExpress.com/doublepointsblue. In the fine print, it does say: This offer represents one additional point when used in conjunction with other bonus point offers. So I guess it's "stackable" with the double points for everyday purchase offer?

I have been geting blue loot since day one, got the offer, and signed up a few days ago. What is interesting about AMEX and blue loot, you get points for balance transfers, while you don't with Discover. My blue loot is 1:1, one blue loot point for $1 spent. So far, I have gotten $100 GC to Morton's (the best steak ever), free hotel stays, almost free Maytag Dishwasher ($300 in Home Depot GC's), and $100 Bloomingdales GC as gift for my sister, and concert tickets.

Logan on tuition payment:

The all-5% Universal cards (several of them) may be best, IF you can get them.

Then the 2% Driver's Edge and/or the 3% Subaru if you will buy a new car soon.

Then the 1.5% Fido card...

JMHO.

Thank you 76hhma.

Are those Universal Cards 5% on all purchases (or just everyday?). I do not see 5% on everything advertised (or at least my Google search is not finding it) - how would I go about getting one?

Thank you 76.

Sorry for OT.

I am talking about 5% for all purchases, or else, it does not cover tuition payment.

Well, most likely, you can not get it (all-5% card) at the present time.

last I saw there was still a citi drivers edge offering 5% for the first 9 months - sure you can find a link to it on this site. Course it's not 5% cash, exactly.

know of no others right now, but I imagine there are/will be.
