Resource eMoney Market Account

I didn't see any threads on this bank and they have the highest APY for FDIC that I know of. They seem to keep track of other banks and keep themselves on top even to the .01%

The $100 early close fee seems high but does anyone have any other insight or experience with this bank?

Account Fees: A minimum balance fee of $10.00 will be imposed monthly if the balance in the account falls below $10,000.00 any day of the month. If you exceed 3 withdrawals in a month, their will be a $10.00 charge for each excess withdrawal.

I think that the deal in this thread is more appealing. 3.3%, $5k minimum and no $100 early closing fee.

Better yet, ED at 3.25%, no fees or minimums

Good rate.
Do they have linking capabilities ?
Any fees for ACH transactions performed against the account ?

According to CSR, no linking capabilities within the account itself. The online interface is similar to Access National so I suspect that it's the same interface but I'll see once I have access to it.

No fee for ACH transactions. 5 starter checks & deposit slips are free with the welcome package. Beyond that, checks are free for 50K+ deposit if below, I believe that it costs 10.65. As Cheap mentioned rate went up .01 on same day that WFB raised its rate so it'll be interesting to see how this goes.

CostCo MMA at Capital One now pays 3.20% and provides more than 5 starter checks for free, about 30 IIRC.

I'll stick with ED due to the lack of any fees and minimums.

other than the fee structure in the first post, what hidden fees are you referring to?
