You can't combine both the $50 and the referral bonus - just get the $50 bonus (50>35). |

Anyone having trouble adding your ING Direct account to MS Money 2005? I only see ING Direct (Canada) listed.
I clicked on it anyways and put the information they wanted, your customer number and your pin number. It didnt go through? |

I know this question had been asked, but I couldn't find it.
How long does it take for ING to post the $50 credit to your account? I opened the account on 3/23, received a statement, yet no $50. Thanks. |

I received mine about a week after I started the process of opening the account. After it was completely finished then I received my 50.00. |

Are there any referrals bonuses if you recommend it to someone else and if yes, how does it actually work? I've tried to look this over at ING but couldn't find it. Thanks! |

yah i still can't manage to get it. I tried the ING Direct (Canada), and I put my customer # in there, and my pin. no luck, and I even tried my account #.
you would think that you would be able to do it, because when I installed Money, they put an ING link on my desktop. |

They only allow single or joint accounts - no trust or payable on death accounts. Can't use this if you want these funds to avoid probate. |

I was reading somewhere else that to get the 25 you need to go thru a referal link, Is the one thru fat wallet a referal link? Or does someone want to PM me one. I'd like to open an account it would double the intrest I'm currently making. |

I would recommend using the $50 sign up bonus link(mentioned a couple pages back in this thread i belive).
From taxcut software insert - use code: 58978755 at http://www.ingdirect.com/taxcut
Or if you only want a $25 sign up bonus, I can send you an ING invite(which will get me a $10 referal bonus), but i think this option does not quite follow the rules of the fat wallet forums.
If you are a Fatwalleter, you will choose wisely...? |

Only a few banks still ask or provide the POD account option. Without one and upon the account holder's death, the bank will either disburse the funds in your account in accordance with your probated will or, if you die intestate (meaning "without a will"), the state's intestate succession laws will govern the transfer. If the latter takes place, the relative specified in the applicable intestate succession statute will be entitled to the money. I am not aware of any major US banks that still give you the option of designating a POD beneficiary since the potential liability that is often associated with such accounts is not worth it to the banks. As a practical solution to the POD issue, I would suggest creating a joint account with the person you want to inherit your money and, assuming that you trust that person, asking him/her to refrain from accessing your account until your death. |

How long does it take some of you to have money transferred into the ING account? My money from my Bank of America checking takes 1 week to clear into ING. Why is the wait so long? |

I had long transfer waits with both ING and Emigrant. Theres no reason for it; technically the money can be from one account to the other in a matter of hours. Any slow downs are artificially created. Maybe some are good ones to make sure the transaction is valid/reasonable. Maybe they're just dragging their feet so they can snap up another week or two of your money float. |

On ING, it says "Funds generally move between your Orange account and your linked account within 3 business days." But my last three transfers needed a whole week exactly to clear. |
