Does President Saving have an option to ACH from Bank of america? I what to transfer over 30K from BOA to the savings - what is the best way to do this? with ING, all I had to do with ACH via routing/acct#.
I don't want/need a checking account.
thanks Billpay from BoA to Presidential usually posts in 1 business day for me.
Could you please elaborate on how you have this set up? Do you simply put your account number in the memo field and send it to Presidential Bank's address with your name? |

Use Presidential Bank as the Payee, their east-west highway address as the payment address, and your savings or checking account number as the account number (NOT in the memo field). |

Anyone else having a problem with Yodlee and Presidential website? Ever since they switched over for more security and they ask you about your favorite resturant, movie, etc... I haven't been able to get it to update properly in Yodlee, anyone else? |

I can tell you there is definitely a known problem with Money and Presidential (CashEdge). Probably the same issue with Yodlee. The people at Presidential were not optimistic that this would get corrected quickly. If I were a customer, I would definitely call them and "remind them" that they need to work with Microsoft and CashEdge to get this fixed.
When I called... I sounded like the "only person complaining"... when I know this is happening to everyone. |

Did you go back into Yodlee and make sure the answers correspond to the correct security questions? Every now and then I will get an error on Yodlee about Presidential and when I check the yodlee security questions, the answers are correct, but the questions are wrong. When I change them and update, things work.
I submitted an issue to Yodlee on this, but have not heard of a resolution yet. |

Yes I checked the security questions and answers to make sure they were correct, but was still having problems. I got fed up, deleted presidential from yodlee, then readded it again. It is working now, I have no idea why it was having problems. So if you have problems, just delete it (make sure you know your login, pw, and pw questions before you do this) and then readd it again like a new account and it should update properly. |

here is the way to use presidential bank. open both premier saving account and check plus account. transfer to and from checking as needed. if you want to withdrawn big amount without fee. transfer from saving to checking and do a bill pay to your new account. |

Yes, still having trouble with Money 2007 syncing. Works 25% of the time I'd guess. Presidential hasn't been much help on it so far.
DjPiLL said:I don't think much has changed with Presidential, so they probably still do a hard pull.
But they are still a great bank. I noticed someone had Money 2007 and had trouble syncing. Still having trouble? I have Money 2006 and it works "most" of the time. But there are periods where it won't sync properly. |

WalStMonky said:Using the AMA account, assigning USAXX as the sweep account. Only a few dozen extra basis points but no minimum balance and checks are free. This doesn't work if you're hung up on FDIC insurance. Personally I don't think it's much of a gamble to bet on USAA being solvent for the foreseeable future. Presidential Premiere savings is slightly higher and FDIC insured, so I'm sure I'll keep that account for now, though I really don't have much use for a savings account.
What is the AMA account and USAXX? I don't see any references to such things on their website under savings or investments.
Thanks |

Try Asset Management Account (AMA). Go to Yahoo! Quotes and try USAXX. |

Do I need to put the route number with the account number? |

According to the schedule of fees, Presidential charges $3.50 for outgoing funds transfer. Does it only apply for ACH transfer initiated on their site? What if I do a pull from another bank? |
