Thanks OP and dYs.
Just added another 70k in CL. Got Sony, Schwab, 2 Citi, 3 airline cards, AMEX starwood, Penfed and Discover restaurant 5%. Citi turned down Simplicity saying "Too many applications in last 60 days" and Cap1 pulled Experian and turned down my app for too many enquiries, no bumpage
Got some 500 bucks in bonuses and 20k miles on UAL, 15k on USAir, 15k on NWA plus I am about to get tickets for a 20k mile trip, so that is an extra 200 bucks there on the Citi.
BTing between the Sony, Premier Pass and Diamond Preferred will make some easy money over the next 24 months.
Edit: Rats! Forgot to use cardoffers for the Discover. |

Hello. I am sure most or all of these are mentioned, however, I haven't read thru all of the Posts.
Chase Cash plus seems to still be offering $100, Chase Rewards Plus MC $50, and AT&T Universal Rewards $50. I linked them all in my own thread about 5% Cash Back cards here |

How did you apply for multiple Sony CC's? Did you cancel then re-apply?
Thanks. |

Thanks.
Both my wife and myself applied for the second sony card, leaving the first card open, but only my wife was approved for the second one. She just received $100 credit on her second card few days ago. |

By second Sony card, I take it you mean the same Sony card, but under a different offer? How long did you wait b/t offers? Thanks! |

Thanks! yes, it was the same card and different $100 offer (one of them was just a link on sony.com, the other "back to school" or something like that) Waited 2 or 3 month between the offers. |

Now you probably want to merge them to save on BT fee (if you haven't done the BT on the first one yet). Will Chase "really" merge them, or will they transfer the CL from one to the other, but leave the closed card on your credit report ("closed by consumer")? |

Not sure how they merge the cards, but there aren't any BTs on them right now, so no need to merge them. |

How about the Amazon VISA and Buy.com VISA offers? Are they excluded from this thread because they offer a credit to their own websites instead of cash? Is there another thread that covers those cards? I am thinking of going with the Buy.com VISA because I buy from there often and they seem to give out coupons to those who use their cards and also 3 points per dollar at their website. Is that a better deal than these cards? |

I had two credit cards from Chase so I called them and asked them to close one and add its credit limit to the other. They did that without any problems except that they added about $500 less. I suppose that amounts to merging the two credit cards. I don't know how it affects my credit history though.

Hi guys, I didn't see another thread on this, excuse me if I missed it.
Since this thread is about credit card bonuses, I felt it was an acceptable location to post in.
I CANNOT get in touch with cardoffers.com. I signed up for 3 cards on Feb 26th. One had a 10 dollar bonus and 2 had 40 dollar bonuses each. Well I was approved for the 10 and one of the 40s.
I have now received both those cards and made purchases on them and received their bonus Air Advantage miles on them and everything. I received the 10 dollar bonus check from card offers in the mail a month ago.
I never received the 40 dollar bonus for the card that was approved. It does not and has not shown up on the card offers site as an approved bonus.
I've emailed them 4 times asking them to look into it and let me know.
Their site says they will respond via email within 48 hours or something. Well, my 4 inquiries were over the last 2 months and I've not gotten any response back from them. How crappy can they be that they wont even write me back or send me an autoresponder. Does ANYONE have an actual real live contact name or email there that I can write to? |

cardoffers are slow, it can easily take 3-4 month to receive your bonus. sorry I don't have any contact info for cardoffers. |
