I have an IMMA,Brokerage,Checking,Savings, and Credit cards with CB. (Substantial Amounts) When I called they gave me the same SHmeel...."We made a mistake by posting an ad an Yahoo" ..."Sorry,but we do not have this product to offer at this time" Couldn't tell me WHEN or IF it would be offered at a later time,Or IF I could be notified when it became available. Strike TWO for Citi....In my book. Strike "Three" and I'm pulling ALL accounts. A company this size should not have an excuse for doing something like this....Wonder who has been fired?

I completely agree. The world's largest financial services company should be able to do a better job than that ... and I think that they should have to honor it since it was advertised. To me, this amounts to false advertising.

I agree with you there, but I'm sure its a mistake on their part. Take DeII for instance, always mistakes on their part... but do people actually stop purchasing from them (a deal is a deal). And since you have so many accounts, would it be worth it too move them all elsewhere (unless you get better deals?)

bad news and warning to the people like me...check your citibank online banking...

I noticed a a savings account in my accounts. Unfortunately, it's the day to day savings account, which requires $500 and only has a 0.50 interest...right now for me, there's a 0 balance, but I need to complain to them to close it or something.

sigh...I hope that e-savings shows up soon. I hope I can either change this account to the e-savings. sigh...

Just checked my online accounts and there is a new Day-to-Day savings acccount with a 0.25% apy. Not too happy about this but it confirms what others are saying.

Better check first to make sure there's no penalty for "early closure."

Just got off the phone with someone who claimed to know what is happening at citi. Said that the E-savings program is 7-10 days from being launched. If you applied already you will need to reappy once it is re-launched.

Took me 10 minutes to get to a person that had even heard of the program, said the launch got delayed but some advertisers did not get the word.

Someone should post a new link, once the offer becomes valid..

The e-savings account is actually listed in citibank's marketplace addendum. I found it the other day. But still no info online.

A new checking account just appeared in my list of accounts online. I can only hope that it is this 3% account.

I'm missing something. How can you check online what APY you have on a savings account? I can see it only in the statement. Is there another way? Step-by-step instructions will be appreciated.

Citibank customer service offered me this deal yesterday when I tried to close my EZ checking account. It is very attractive but I didn't take it. I am very uncomfortable with Citibank's whole computer system/security and customer service. In this half a year, they made a lot of mistakes. I think I won't put my money in risk unless they show a big improvement.
