citicardman, what is the actual limit on the number of Citibank credit card accounts? I have 3 and they don't want to give me another card. But, I have heard people on here that have 4 (maybe even 5?) different Citibank credit cards. How is this possible? |

"not many Citi employees would take the risk of posting this info for us"
I think what he means is that as an "insider", Citibank might get mad at you for answering our questions. As long as you keep your information and identity secret, I don't think Citibank can do anything to you. |

You mentioned several times 'have the inq removed off my credit report'. Would you please tell us how to get an inquiry removed? Thanks a lot! |

the online CL increase form always asks for income info (wont generate automatic increase) should I request manual increase?
if you want to take the hit on the credit report
What are some of the higher limits youve seen as a Citi rep?? I have limits close to $50k with other issuers but Citi has been stingy... this cl that you speak of at other companys is
i have seen limits as high as 3 hundred K
not to say what the vip people have you the stars i dont do these acct what's doing you in at citi because citi knows what you have with them they cant give you any more or maybe they can if you have not asked than ask if you dont care about the credit inq.

MBNA gives me big lines, AMEX, Chase, etc.
I have several Citi cards , and whenever I open a new one they only give me $500 Credit Line and opportunity to reallocate limits...
I have Sears MC, Dividend, Drivers Edge, ATT, Exxon MC, etc.

thank you for your help with this because it helps out a lot with all our questions and that we will respect that you do not want to be hurt by your helping us out so I will take the time now to help you point out that you might need to purchase a book on grammar to help you out with placing some periods and commas to make the sentences more readable but thank you for your help
=) sorry, I had too... I'm just a dork, I actually had to try a little not to puts some periods and commas.... |

when I create a 2 month temporary cc number for an online purchase, does that new account number get placed on my credit report? I assume it doesn't, but just making sure.

1st of all how many "gd" cards do you need, and will they all fit in your wallet, and if so, i would like to see this wallet, and if it fit in your pants.
now you no im joking but really it sounds like a give and take problem i mean you have lots of cards and lots of credit lines out there and there is a point were it will stop. my answer is ask a c/s rep to do a cli for you and push through the reff to the credit dept because a brand new acct does not qualify for a cli tell them you know this but you want it to be reviewed any ways and if the cl does not increase then look though the other responces for what i told some one else about asking to speak to the presidential dept |

So these limits up to $300k, did these people get them by having a small initial account and requesting increases? Does Citi require financial documents?
Whats the limit before Citi requires documentation? |

The norm I see is any req over 10k, but it all realy depends on what that persons credit is like |
