this includes all the FWF favorites: Schwab, Fidelity, Merrill, etc!
Interestingly, the BofA USAir Visa Signature card will be taken over by Juniper in 2006. Juniper is foreign owned. Still no defections in the MBNA cards yet. |

Does MBNA have any good reward programs besides the Fidelity cards? I figure I should get them now before the merger, in case Bank of America keeps the programs alive for existing cardholders but stops offering them as new cards. I looked at MBNA's card directory (http://www.mbna.com/creditcards/directory.html), and I couldn't find anything better than 1% rewards, but just about every bank offers that nowadays. Furthermore, when I looked at the World Points rewards center (www.mbnaworldpoints.com), it said you have to earn 25,000 World Points in order to get 1% Cash Back (lower point levels offered <1% Cash Back). |

The Stockback card (http://www.stockback.com) looks good. It offers up to 2%, but to hit the 2% reward level you have to spend more than $5000 a month!
I also noticed MBNA offers a Fraternal Order of Police card. Perhaps you could try to use it as one of those PBA "get out of a speeding ticket free" cards I doubt it would work though, when the cop notices the Visa/MasterCard logo. |

BigBucksNoWhammy said:I've been with MBNA for years and like the regular CL increases and the often available 0% BT offers. I have no experience with BOA. Anyone out there that has BOA cards care to share their experience with how BOA handles automatic CL increases and 0% BT offers?
I don't have any experience with Bank of America, but the longest 0% BT APRs on their website are only for 6 months. But on the plus side, there are no balance transfer fees. MBNA offers a lot of 0% BT APRs for 12 months. However, MBNA usually had a $75 max balance transfer fee, but I noticed that now a lot of the cards on their website have a 3% balance transfer fee with NO maximum. So that's pretty much a 3% APR disguised as a 0% APR. So I would say take advantage of those MBNA 12 month 0% APRs while they're still around, and make sure you read the fine print. |

I just called MBNA and got my limit upped to $1800 from $1000 and I did a $385 balance transfer. That was painless and the customer service rep was very friendly. I know this off topic but just thought I would add my experience dealing with MBNA and BoA simultaneously. |

I just got approved for the Fido 1.5% card. The limit was 7500 exactly the average of my other 3 cards (citi, boa, AMEX). |

Despite the pending B of A merger, MBNA is apparently reavaluating it's Billpay feature. I recieved an email asking me to fill out a survey on how I used and percieved their billpay feature. The email reads as follows:
