Thanks OP, I'll forward it to my friends who did not take advantage of $150 GC offer

Not in my case (live in NJ).
$150 GCs from the previous deal were delivered via UPS. One package got sent back because I was on vacation. They've promised to resend it.
Schwab card is useful for travel - no currency exchange surcharge.

Yeah why are us New Yorkers getting stiffed on these awesome sign up bonuses!?

I already closed the account from the previous promotion ($150). Anyone know if I can apply and get this reward again?

Closing credit card accounts may not be good for your FICO score. See here.
Actually I shoud have said that I transfered all the credit line to my AAA card and closed the schwab card. So my total credit line is still the same. Closing credit card should not lower my credit score but opening a new one will reduce about 2-3 points. I will call them to verify if I am still eligible for this gift card.

Suggest that you just apply, not even mentioning the closed account unless they bring it up.

Thank you for submitting an application for a Charles Schwab Bank Visa® credit card. Your business is appreciated and careful consideration is being given to your request, but an instant decision cannot be provided at this time. .... All credit card applications receive a written response within the next 30 days.
----
I hope that doesn't mean NO. I haven't applied for any sort of credit since October/2004.
Anyone have any idea how long I should wait before I call?

It (the application process) was discussed here. The phone number for application is the same as before. The status number used to be 888-279-7538. In short, it does not mean NO. Call the status line after 1-2 weeks. Good luck!

Anyone have any idea how long I should wait before I call? It means they need to manually review your application. If they deny you and you have another account with MBNA you can simply ask to reallocate your credit lines to open this account. That's what I had to do to open my $150 Schwab card account.

Are you sure? Even if you do the online app? I could use another free $200...

Called the 866-724-9223 on the website. Ten minute application process ended with being approved for a 2nd card (1st was with $150). She wanted to know my interest in the card because I haven't been using the first. Of my original 12K credit line, she took 6K away for this new card so now I have two with 6K each.
Painless procedure, card will arrive in 5-7 business days.

There are pros and cons to do online applications. One of the disadvantages is that they may just decline the application without one's clarification (say due to previously closed account).

I just applied for this card, I don't need another card but I regret not taking advantage of the $150 previously, so I definitely wanted the $100. I did not get an instant approval. I have 1 other MBNA card with a $15,000 creditline.

Oh that is what I wanted to hear, time to apply again .
The CSR will transfer you immediately to a credit analyst for "instant decision." If you get disconnected, call 1-888-279-7538.
Good luck!
P.S., Please figure out a reason why you want two CS cards. I said for personal accounting purpose. He was confused, but approved my application.

Just called, I applied 30 minutes ago. I was approved for a creditline of $5300. I will get my $100 gift card and then merge the CL with mine other card for $20,300.

Basically, because I haven't been using the Schwab card, why would I want a second one?

A clever answer to the "why do you need another card" question from a previous post is "to have a card to track expenses by the day of week."
YMMV!

Got the second card. Rep did not ask why I wanted another card and I didn't offer the info. Thanks OP.

Instant approval! Thx Schwab!
BTW- for those calling, mention priority code GG57 to help the CSR find the offer.
Monthly maintenance fees?! Are you guys cancelling the card before they start charging this ludicrous fee?
