What about a buying with PayPal faq? Here's a question: for a buyer, is it better to dispute a non-delivered item with PayPal or through your credit card company, or both? Any links on this topic? |

Any links on this topic? It is always easier to dispute items through credit card companies. I believe PayPal limits buyer disputs to 3 times per year, but your credit card company will bendover backwards for you. When a credit card company performs a chargeback on your behalf, PayPal is in a defensive position and has little say in the eventual outcome of the situation. The seller has zero say and is only along for the ride. And credit card companies typicaly side with the buyers on the assumption that sellers are more able to absorb the cost of a loss. |
I tried disputing once through paypal, because item was not as described. Since I actually received the item, paypal denied the chargeback. Then, I called my credit card company, and successfully disputed the charge, and eventually got credited back. |
If I have more than one email address on my PayPal.com account, can I receive payments through any of them? Or can I receive payments to the primary email address only? |

eBay sellers beware. Paypal does not follow standard banking practices. They can and do whatever they like with your money and you will have no recourse except to sue them. I keep most of my $ out of my paypal account and in my business checking account because of the many horror stories out there. I hate how in the event of a dispute they immediately take out the money from the seller's account until the dispute is complete. Merchant credit card accounts at least give you a week or two grace period to fill out the forms and fight the dispute. The paypal interest rate is good, but it's not worth the risk keeping a lot of money in Paypal. I wish google payments would hurry along. |
I contacted PayPal for my MMF account # & ABA routing number: They replied, You MMF account number is your PayPal account number (xxx...). But received no info on ABA routing #. Does anyone know what the ABA routing # for PayPal MMF is? I would like to create links to my MMF account. |
Could someone walk me through the procedure for doing a Paypal "push" to my BofA Checking Account? I've never done this before -or- point me to a FW link that already discusses this step-by-step? |
Found it! . . . PAYPAL PUSH |
