edgycj said:Has anyone noticed that you can only do an ACH transfer from a non-USAA account to an USAA account in the amount of your available balance? USAA account: $125.43 ACH transfer from non-USAA: $125.43 is only allowed Or is this a new limitation?
I just tried it and I could tranfer up to 5k like the say, I was not limited to what was in that account. Not sure why you have that? |

I feel like a complete doofus. After ACH transfers over the past year, I was doing that @#$#@4 transfer BACKWARDS. I called USAA talked to a nice CSR named Paul, and he helped and thought it was hilarious that I was doing it backwards.
I have no limitations, just me being retarded.

I opened a USAA credit card just recently.
When my card came, unlike on the website, there was absolutely no documentation about 1% back. (Or whatever it is!) Also, the card came with a measly $2k credit limit. When I called to have this limit increased (because the web site refused to process my request, saying 'more information is required'), a rep (with out getting any new information) refused, saying that couldn't be done 'today'. When I asked when it could be increased, he said, 'december'.
This is all despite having $30k+ balances with USAA. |

That's typical for USAA. Use it a few times between then, and they will probably give you a significant CLI.
On a seperate subject, I took advantage of a BT promo from USAA on my Cash Rewards, and noticed that the BT was credited to the Cash Rewards program. Has anyone else had this happen? |

That is somewhat typical, I opened up a CC with them back in Feb/March and they gave me 15k, I called them back once I noticed it was on my usaa.com site and asked them to up it to 25k, since that is where my other cards stand.
The rep put me on hold and went to seek approval from the underwriters to make sure they could do that for me, she came back and changed it in the system to 25k, refreshed online and it was done.
Two weeks ago I saw people online talking about credit line increases from there site, so I went online and did there little questionnaire and they move it up to 35k.
When I first got the card, the interest rate on the card is 10.99% but I wanted it to be slightly lower since they mention lower on there site starting from... they said that they need CC history of 6 month before they can look into changing that for me, so in the next few months hopefully I can get that taken care of .
Let me know your thoughts and how its has worked for you, or what your interest rate is at? |

I logged in and searched the USAA website, but could not determine if ATM debits are counted against the 6 debits allowed per month on a USAA savings account.
Federal law allows the exclusion of ATM transactions, and many banks do exclude them, for savings accounts. |
